Emotion and Story as Memory Organisers and Retrievers

Our memories reflect our life stories. Memory files contain not only data or information about an event but the emotions that we experience at the time when the event occurs. This research focuses on storing, organising and retrieving memories, both semantic and emotional for storytelling in a Mobile Personal Memory Assistant application. It is inspired by work in Psychology, Brain Research, Personality, Narrative, Mobile Computing and Artificial Intelligence.
